The Minor Injuries unit based at Ormskirk Walk in Centre is open from 08:00 – 20:00 Monday to Friday, and 09:00 – 17:00 at weekends and on bank holidays.

The West Lancashire Health Centre is also based at Ormskirk Hospital which you may attend without an appointment and is open from 08:00 – 20:00 seven days a week.

Extended Access Service

West Lancashire now has an Extended Access service running 6 days a week from 18:30 -20:00 Monday to Friday, 09.00 – 16.00 on Saturdays. 

You can book one of these appointments by contacting reception. 

We have availability to book appointments with a GP, a ANP, PN, HCA and a phlebotomist.

The service runs from Burscough Health Centre.

The service offers pre-bookable and same-day primary care appointments with a range of clinicians including GPs, Nurses and Health Care Assistants.

Appointments are available to all patients that are registered in West Lancs and can be booked by contacting reception.
